Centenary Bank to upgrade Core Banking System in a bid to enhance services

KAMPALA. December 30, 2016 - Centenary Bank, Uganda’s leading commercial microfinance bank, shall be upgrading its core banking system, in a bid to improve service delivery.

In order to execute the above, the Bank shall remain closed on Saturday 31st December, 2016 and Monday 2nd January, 2017. Services shall resume on Tuesday 3rd January, 2017. During the time of closure, customers shall still be able to access their accounts through the CenteMobile platform, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Point of Sale terminals country wide.

“We are always interested in serving our customers in the best way possible and in bid to serve them better, we shall be enhancing our systems and our core banking system will be upgraded. We do regret any inconvenience caused’’…. said Mr. Fabian Kasi, the Managing Director of Centenary Bank.
