Processing of Foreign Currency Cheques
The Bank receives deposits of foreign currency cheques cleared through local banks for credit to customer accounts up to; USD 9,000 , GBP 7,000 , EURO 8,000 , KES 700,000
Main features:
- Cheques denominated in foreign currencies.
- Only cheques with amount above USD 100 or equivalent in foreign currencies.
Basic Requirements::
- Account with the Bank.
- Proper identification, Passport, ID or Driving License.
- Supporting documents required for cheques with bigger amounts i.e. USD 5,000 or equivalent in GBP, EURO or KES
