Centenary Bank gives UGX 10 Million for Construction of Masaka Road Accident Center

For the 5th year running, Centenary Bank will be participating in Rotary Nkozi Hospital Run, an initiative aimed at raising funds for a specialized treatment center for accidents victims on Masaka Road.

On Tuesday April 27th, our Managing Director, Fabian Kasi handed over this year’s contribution of UGX 10 Million to the organizers of the run.

Due to Covid-19 regulations, this year’s run will be virtual and is targeting to raise UGX 8 Billion for the construction of a treatment center.

Speaking at the launch of the 2021 edition of the run, Kasi said “Centenary Bank has been part of this fundraising right from inception in 2016, we have participated in all events concerning the establishment of the ward including the Marathon, charity walks, car wash, among others. Our support has been in cash and in kind both at head office & branch level through our Masaka and Kayabwe branches."

“For the last five years, we have supported this cause with over 50 million and this year, Centenary Bank has contributed Shs.10M towards this upcoming Marathon,” added Kasi.

Being a people’s Bank, we have the interests of the people we serve at heart! We couldn’t have kept a deaf ear when we were approached concerning the accident unit that is expected to support casualties along Kampala-Masaka road and neighboring districts.
