Requirements
To open a SACCO Savings account, the following are required:
- No opening cash deposit.
- Copy SACCO by-laws (uncertified).
- Copy of SACCO registration certificate from the Ministry of Co-operatives (uncertified).
- Valid National ID for account signatories.
- Two passport-size photographs of account signatories.
- Copy of minutes and resolution/minutes/attendance list to open the account (uncertified).
- Recommendation letter from the District Commercial Office (DCO).
