• Bills and Bonds are debts contracted by Government from the public
• Issued in denominations of UShs 100,000, with the minimum investment being UShs 100,000.
• Investor opens a Central Securities Depository (CSD) account with BOU through Centenary Bank.
• Investor fills out a Treasury Bill or Bond Bid Application form, to participate in a scheduled Primary Auction, through Centenary Bank or buys Treasury Bills or Bonds directly from Centenary Bank at any time. 
• The interest rate is determined on the auction date, for scheduled Primary Auctions, or at the time of transacting, when buying from Centenary Bank.
• You can transfer, sell or buy Treasury Bill or Bond holdings to or from another Treasury Bill or Bond investor through a Primary Dealer(s).
