Product Features
- Minimum amount is UShs. 60 million or equivalent of USD 15,000 for women and youth owned businesses and UShs. 100 million or equivalent of USD. 25,000 for the other customers. The maximum amount is UShs. 6.5Bn or equivalent of USD 1.75 million.
- Flexible loan periods of up to a maximum of 24 months for working capital loan and 60 months for Asset acquisition loans.
- Processing fee of 2% of the facility amount.
- Interest charged on declining balance basis.
- Flexible and regular repayment frequency.
- Roll-overs are acceptable, but the client must have serviced more than 70% of the current loan.
- Loan Restructuring only with approval of partner.

Requirements
- Current or Savings Bank account.
- Completed loan application form.
- Loan processing fee of 2% paid upfront.
- Original National ID.
- Verifiable source of income to service the loan.
- Customers’ business premises should be located within the branch designated area.
- Securities acceptable by the bank like land titles, kibanja agreements, movable items like Motor vehicles and others.
- Have 5 or more permanent employees.
- Annual sales turnover of not more than USD 10 million (UShs. 37 billion).
- Must be an agribusiness enterprise involved in production, processing, or marketing. The following are excluded from this facility; Tobacco, Alcoholic beverages other than beer & wine or any other business that contravenes the law of the land.
